About Us

Who We Are

Inspired by social movements of the past, The Parent Teacher Collaborative began in 2020 with a mission to inspire strong parent teacher partnerships through idea sharing, encouragement, and learning together. Our goal is to provide children with the tools necessary to succeed, regardless of setting.

About

Elizabeth Cunnion is a Northern California native with a love for the great outdoors. She earned a Master of Education from Concordia University, Portland in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Early Childhood Education. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simpson University in Business and Human Resource Management. She is mother to three children ages 28, 26, and 10. Her children have participated in public education, hybrid high school, and home-based programs. She believes in making choices best suited to the individual child’s learning style and temperament rather than trying to force them into someone else’s idea of how learning and education should look.
